The most awesomest sweater ever.

I found this on eBay a while back and just love everything about it.
Vintage.
Sexist.
Booze.
Color combination.
It is full of win on so many levels I cannot stand it.

Mustardy goodness

I love the dijon mustardy color combination in this nicely done sweater.

Beer Wars!

I was torn on whether to put this in Timeless Hand Knits or the Fourth Knitter of the Apocalypse. Both are exceedingly well done in every way ( I am not sure if they are hand knitted or what.) but the Coors one is up for sale with a buy it now at $299 and the Budweiser is on auction for $20 right now. I want them both and would never wear them.

Mrs. Weasley's Sweater.

This is timeless, yet in-your-face rebelling against Pendleton.
It would be an awesome leftover Stash Coat of Many Mrs. Weasley's Sweater Sweater.

Lovely colorwork on this cardi. The zig zag detail on the bottom row makes it stand out from the usual nordic sweaters.

If interested, I found these on eBay by seller: paul_zhangby out of china. Whether they are machine knit or human knit, I don't know, but they are adorable.

Cute, cute, cute

I have never heard of ellowyne dolls, but I want to be one. More than I ever wanted to be Barbie. This knitted dress is just exquisite and so form fitting. Whomever knitted this did a very fine job.

More inspiration

I like this sweater on so many different levels. First is the simple shaping of the neck and arms. Second, No complicated cables or fussiness, but the chevron styling is really interesting to me for the reasons that any woman who has had kids can understand that distracting from the poochie midsection, this particular design really works and, dare I say, is slimming.

If to knit one yourself, the color options are endless and could be an awesome stashbuster sweater!

Fair Isle Color work.

Note the unusual mandarin collar on this cardi.
This button is too cute.

Barbie all knitted up

Despite her large busom, insanely long legs, impossibly narrow waste, it is the outfits like this that make me still want to be Barbie.

Knitting Pron.

I wanted to start a blog to keep track of all the knitted items I find online which appeal to me for various reasons. Function, form, prettiness and execution.

Since my knitting skills are considerably lacking, more from failure to grasp the concept of reading the directions all the way through and understanding something called Gauge, as well as the ability to focus on a particular new project for longer than the span of a three year old in a toy store, I realized I could just collect my own knitting porn here and save myself the hassle of attempting to knit anything harder than a stockinette stitch scarf.

Maybe my lack of attention can inspire another more intrepid knitter out there.

Without further adieu, here is a lovely natural color hand knit wool cardigan in tans/brown and blue.
